Here we go for the 3rd and final time this week. All in the name of charity, saving money and being all eco-friendly if you like, I’m sharing with you some more fashion finds that float my boat.
Since it’s getting chilly now, paid extra attention to woolen knitwear I could mix and match to upkeep a working wardrobe and try to look stylish while I cosy up in a hurry.
Today the jumble was in my home village of Bulkington in Bedworth, so I loved how I wasn’t far from home this weekend to continue what I like to call a Pyjama Day. TV, warmth, naughty food… bliss.
I’m particularly proud of the feel and look of this shot. It’s so me in keeping with a English country. I love layering with cardies and no doubt will get plenty of wear out of this ditsy floral print blouse by Wrap and hot pink White Stuff cardy. I can think of loads of pieces to wear back to back with this blouse. Also, the vintage wooden shelf cost 50p which I plan to paint in chalk paint and distress for a rustic touch.
The new Laura Ashley wallpaper was a steel at 10p. I have a stash of them now and find they’re perfect at hand for blogging backdrops and lining drawers and decorating pieces of furniture.
Now for something a little bit more partyesque which I picked up from their premium stall. I managed to get a good selection of dressy and day dresses with Christmas coming up so I won’t be panicking about what to wear. The black and cream jersey fixed wrap dress is from Marks & Spencer’s Autograph range costing me £1. I love the cream Oasis lace dress, also a navy blue floral playsuit by Blondie Blondie with a cute collar, both at a pound each.
The more casual day pieces were this H&M denim/linen jacket for 30p, H&M blue dress, £1 and hot pink linen knit frill cardy, 50p.
I know the nautical look isn’t very Autumnal, but I plan to perk myself up on a cooler but sunnier day in this Papaya Weekend cable knit jumper and perhaps wearing back with the shorts, also at 30p and team with some leggings.
And my final and favourite part of any jumble sale visit is always a little post-shopping reward for working hard having a good old rummage. I couldn’t resist a naughty slice of coffee cake and a coffee for £1.50 and took a 50p slice of delicious looking banana & chocolate chip loaf home to my fiance.
