Chalk Paint Recipe with Calcium Carbonate (UK Version)
A much more afforable homemade chalk paint using calcium carbonate mixed with any matt emulsion paint of your choice. This is great of tester pots too.
Servings: 1 pot of pain
Ingredients
- 530 g matt emulsion paint (colour of your choice)
- 2.5 tablespoon calcium carbonate
- 2.5 tablespoon water
Instructions
- In a tub big enough for your paint, first mix together the water and calcium.
- Then pour in the paint and give it a thorough stir.
- Apply to your project, wait to dry, then seal with a clear wax using a lint free cloth. I use Rustoleum furniture wax
