A couple of weeks ago, we went camping for the week and tried to head to Scotland.
The trouble was, most campsites were packed near the sea and the old wild camping spots we knew were no out of bounds. Plus it was terrible weather, so we went over the Cumbria instead, then Rutland to visit new places and try our best to follow the nice weather.
(It also hadn't been relaxing finding campsites with no showers and toilets on the East side.) Anyway, we still found campsites we liked tucked away, so if any of these appeal for your next trip, here's the locations!
