Rendered Breeze Block Patio Step DIY (Cost £60)

Our conservatory has needed a step ever since it was put up in 2014.

We've used lots of make-shift methods while I build my DIY confidence.

So this week, I took my father in law's advice and made a step from rendered breeze blocks and patio slabs to match my existing lay out.  I'm extremely happy with how it turned out and here's the video on how I did it!

Fantastic way of saving money! DIY isn’t just about making things look pretty – you can whack out the angle grinder and make some genuinely useful and long-wearing constructions for the benefit of the whole family. Must say the final product looks fantastic (and I appreciate the lined-up lines!).

Thanks so much 🙂 I totally agree about not making things all pretty! I'm so glad it worked out and could line it all up - it would've bugged me if not ?

This is such a brilliant way to save money, and with great results too. Thanks for sharing the process! It seems like you're really getting to grips with the whole DIY thing. I'm sure others will find this useful too.

Cheers! I found this method so much easier than all the other methods I saw on YouTube. Thanks heavens for Father-in-Laws who can pass information on!
