Replacing a Manhole Cover on Driveway

I'm currently working on laying our new gravel driveway.

Originally I'd planned on the side of the house though, was patio.  But truth be told, in the end, I couldn't be bothered.

The main obstacle was this uneven manhole and was worried it would look a mess.

Anyway, if you're here on how you're wanting to change a mahole cover for gravel or block paving, then here's how I did mine!

We used:

Mortar (3 part sharp sand, 1 part cement)
A small trowel (£1.99) from my local hardware store.
