About this time last year, I said goodbye to my Hunter's wellies about picked up a pair of lightweight ones from Decathlon by Quechua for £4.99. Sadly a year on, I've now had to say farewell to them too. But finding them once more seemed impossible.
What I loved about them were they were easy to slip on. Perfect for nipping outside in the garden, dog walks, camping or even in the house when they were clean. The downside was they came with separate boot liners that eventually perished and the boot's soles were now thin.
So keeping with that theme and combined with my fiance not knowing what to get me for Christmas, I asked for some black Crocs Women's Winter Puff boots.
Yes, they're pricier, but they're an easy going style I like for someone practical like me. And great with leggings or skinnys if you ask me. The puffy ankles aren't solid so are actually like a classic Croc sandal but again, really light to walk in. The lining is fixed in these (bonus) and overall feel better quality, especially the soles.
At least now I know where to buy another pair if I need them.
Thank you to my fiance who didn't stop me wearing them sooner before Christmas. I'd been needing them for a while and my old ones are now in the bin.
