Using Screwfix's Unika Pipe Collars with Laminate

I was a bit scared to see my lovely laminate being cut for the radiator pipes when our builder first put it down in the living room.  Sadly he's not here enough to finish jobs and was sick of seeing the gaps so I went and bought some real wood Unika ones to match at Screwfix.

I'm sure it's cheaper to buy somewhere online but was worried whether online photos would look the same as in person.  These come in a pack of two for £4.39 so were much cheaper than our other local Wickes.

They are really tough to separate but that's what you want isn't it when they around the pipes.

We're happy with them because although they obviously there, they're much prettier than how it looked before.

Here's my installing them and how I needed to saw one of the edges fit between the pipe and skirting board.
